Exclusion Zone

What is it?

An incredibly tangled Fabric project for version 1.21 that nevertheless functions quite effectively and adds to vanilla Minecraft some things that are usually missing for players accustomed to modifications.

Key Features

The mod offers several useful tools lacking in the standard game, and also presents a dangerous unique biome of a special type. Additionally, you'll find various structures here that create small areas of this special biome around themselves.

You'll get a collection of unique decorative items with no practical use, a suspiciously sinister special item, and an unusual milk potion.

Working Mechanics

Exclusion Zone is designed as a standalone addition for servers that diversifies standard Minecraft without altering the core foundations of the game. It pairs excellently with TheEpicBlock's PolyMc tool for connecting completely vanilla clients to slightly modified servers.

EZ features minimally interfere with gameplay by default, but provide server owners with the ability to turn significant territories into enchanted dangerous lands.

Special "Exclusion Zone" Biome

When entering an Exclusion Zone (usually marked by turquoise particles in the air and abundant growth of moss and distorted blocks), players should carefully monitor toxic buildup. This indicator is displayed as a special bar at the bottom of the screen that gradually fills over time spent in the zone.

As toxicity levels increase, the character begins to experience increasingly severe negative potion effects, which can eventually lead to death. Simple prevention - be sure to fill all armor slots for protection against toxic effects.

Archaeology System

The mod integrates with the vanilla archaeology system, adding suspicious variants of moss and all types of colored concrete powder. It's worth noting that only suspicious moss is currently available to players in survival mode under normal conditions.

During excavations in Exclusion Zones, you can discover various artifacts and relics of an ancient civilization. Come up with your own backstory for these items - it's much more exciting!
