Exhausted Spawners - Redesigned Spawner System
The Exhausted Spawners mod fundamentally changes how mob spawners operate by introducing limits on creature generation and alternative recharge methods. Inspired by the Enhanced Mob Spawners concept, this project has been completely redeveloped from scratch and offers a unique gaming experience.
Key Features
All mod parameters can be customized to your preferences. The following values are set by default:
Each spawner can create a limited number of mobs - 64 creatures, after which it becomes exhausted and stops functioning. To restore its operation, you can use spawn eggs that add 4 mobs to the spawner's available supply.
When mining a spawner with Silk Touch enchantment, you receive the spawner block itself and a certain number of spawn eggs. The number of eggs directly depends on the remaining mobs in the spawner at the time of its destruction.
Killing mobs with weapons enchanted with Silk Touch gives a 15% chance to drop the corresponding spawn egg. However, in this case, you will not receive the usual items that normally drop from this mob.
The mod has built-in integration with Jade, allowing you to see the current number of remaining mobs in the spawner directly in the game interface.

Game Philosophy
Similar to how Silk Touch works with blocks, using this enchantment to kill mobs helps reduce inventory clutter while exploring caves and dungeons. Instead of numerous regular items, you get compact spawn eggs that can later be used in spawners or mechanisms to obtain necessary resources.
The mod is completely self-contained and ready to use. However, to maximize its potential, it's recommended to combine it with the Fabrication/Forgery mod (weapons_accept_silk feature) to collect eggs using weapons, not just tools, and with KubeJS to create additional recipes and uses for spawn eggs.
