Exotic Blocks

Exotic Blocks is a developing building mod that is in the early stages of development. Future versions plan to add many new blocks and functional capabilities.

Compatibility and Requirements

For game versions 1.14 and 1.15, the additional Exotic Matter Library is required. Starting with version 1.16, this library is included in the mod and does not require separate installation.

Important Note: In version 1.16, the mod identifiers and block names changed. Existing worlds created before version 1.16 should convert correctly, but it is recommended to create a backup of your world before updating.

Main Features

Connecting Glass Blocks

• Glass and stained glass blocks that smoothly connect with each other
• Crafted from regular glass blocks in a 1:1 ratio
• Possibility of reverse conversion to regular glass blocks

Universal Stairs and Wedges

• Available for all stone blocks that already have standard stairs, as well as for concrete and terracotta
• Inner and outer corners are represented as separate blocks that can be placed independently of the main stairs and wedges
• Crafted using a stonecutter
• For horizontal placement based on look direction, hold the Windows/Command key
• For horizontal placement based on relative face position, hold the Control key

Stone Columns

• Various options of round and square columns
• Some models feature lighting functionality
• Crafting is done through a stonecutter
• Combining with glowstone dust or prismarine creates glowing and light-emitting variants

Illuminated Panels

• Full blocks that can be combined with glowstone dust or prismarine to create glowing and light-emitting modifications
