Expanded Lubrication
The Expanded Lubrication mod extends the lubrication system for multiblock structures from popular technical modifications, including Immersive Engineering, Immersive Petroleum, Immersive Industry, and Immersive Geology (with Industry and Geology addons being optional for the mod's operation). It provides the ability to speed up resource processing in these structures, saving system resources by reducing the number of required mechanisms - all at the cost of lubricant materials. The mod is primarily designed for use in modpacks but works perfectly fine in standalone mode.
Additionally, a hierarchy of lubricating fluids with varying levels of effectiveness has been introduced, where each of the four tiers can be individually configured or excluded as desired. The speed acceleration of mechanisms can also be adjusted through the configuration file.
The mod is fully configurable: fluids for each tier are defined through tags in the datapack data/minecraft/tags/fluids/tier_X_lubricant.json, where X is the tier number. The consumption intensity of lubricant for each tier, as well as the acceleration coefficient, can be configured. Any mechanism can be activated or disabled.
Supported Structures:
- Immersive Engineering: Arc Furnace, Auto-Engineer Workbench, Fermenter, Mixer, Press, Refinery, Squeezer, Crusher, Excavator, Coke Oven, Crude and Improved Blast Furnace, Alloy Smelter.
- Immersive Petroleum: Coker, Distillation Tower, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Pumpjack.
- Immersive Industry: Crucible, Industrial Electrolyzer, Car Kiln, Rotary Kiln.
- Immersive Geology: Rotary Kiln, Gravity Separator, Crystallizer, Chemical Vat, Hydrojet Cutter.
Unsupported Mechanisms (unlikely to be added):
- Immersive Engineering: Assembler, Sawmill, Bottling Plant, Metal Press, Lightning Rod (power generation), Diesel Engine (power generation).
- Immersive Industry: Steam Turbine (power generation).
- Immersive Geology: Reverberation Furnace (potentially possible).
