ExtraDE Origins Addon
This addon for the Origins mod allows you to assign an origin one of the creature groups defined by the Extra Damage Enchantments modification.
Balanced Vulnerability System
The standard origins:entity_group ability is excellent for role-playing immersion, but in PvP situations, players with this ability find themselves at a disadvantage due to vulnerability to specific enchantments. Consider the damage difference between Sharpness V and Smite V against undead.
This addon balances the gameplay by allowing more origins to have specific enchantment vulnerabilities. In PvP or competitive environments, it's much more interesting when every player has their own weakness that you can prepare for.
New Capabilities
The mod adds a new ability type extrade:entity_group that works similarly to the standard origins:entity_group, but with additional options for the group parameter.
Pre-made Ability Implementations
The mod already includes ready-to-use ability implementations for your origins:
