Extreme sound muffler - (Neo)Forge
Extreme sound muffler is a client-side mod that allows you to selectively mute sounds in Minecraft.
Requires FORGE or NEOFORGE to work.

How to Use the Mod
The sound configuration process is very simple:
- Open the mod interface via the inventory button or assigned hotkey
- Find the desired sound in the list and press the mute button next to it
- Adjust the sound volume if necessary using the slider
- Check the result by pressing the play button
- Enjoy the silence!
Anchor System
Anchors are zone-based mufflers that work only in a specific area:
- Open the ESM menu and select one of the 10 anchor slots
- Press the marker button to set the anchor position in the world
- In additional settings, set the name and action radius
- Configure sound muffling for this zone
The anchor position can be changed at any time by pressing the marker button again.
Interface Customization
The mod button in the inventory can be disabled in the configuration. If it's in the way — simply hold the right mouse button and drag it to a convenient location.
Flexible Settings
The mod offers many customization options:
- Placement of mute and play buttons on any side of the screen
- Ability to disable the anchor system
- Blacklist of sounds that won't appear in the interface
- Setting the default volume level for muted sounds
- Control over inventory button visibility
