DEVELOPMENT DISCONTINUED. THE MOD WILL BE SPLIT INTO MULTIPLE MODULES (Multifarious: ...)

Originally this mod was created for an upcoming modpack, but I thought some of you might want to use its features in your own worlds and packs. Almost everything is implemented through datapacks, so anyone can edit the content. A wiki will be added next week, be sure to report all bugs and issues, join the Discord for up-to-date information. The mod can be added and removed from existing worlds without any problems.

Currently Implemented Features:

  • Ring Crafting - create rings that improve character stats, uses the accessory system
  • Item Quality - currently only for rings, each crafted ring gets random quality from common to legendary, affecting final stats
  • Over 30 weapon models - check the screenshots!
  • Spell and Mana System - apply runewords to equipment to get active abilities while wearing it (see video below)
  • When used with the Identity mod, some abilities will transform your character
  • New ways to obtain items
  • Jundles (Jar + Bundle) - alternative bundle implementation using clay/bricks
  • Plates - upgrade equipment from stone to netherite level while keeping enchantments and abilities
  • Pocket Geodes - find them when mining ore, contain gems and runes
  • Rune Crafting - creating runewords, weapons, cosmetic particles
  • Status Effects and custom particles (Leader of the Pack, Bleed)
  • Gems - obtained from pocket geodes, used for crafting and as enchantment alternative
  • Everything can be changed/adjusted/added/removed through datapacks

Planned Features:

  • Similar to rings - necklaces
  • Equipment modifiers and RNG stats on gear (example: add a zombie heart to your chestplate for a health bonus)
  • Many additional spells and runewords (currently only one available)
  • Weapon-specific abilities (currently weapons are not balanced but this will change in the future)
  • 3D armor models
  • Mob-specific drops for use in crafting
  • Unique weapons that cannot be crafted, with their own abilities and models

Compatibility:

Identity: When using this mod together with Identity for animal transformations, be sure to check configuration files and disable most options. Custom transformations haven't been added yet, but possibly in the future.

Origins: To use other origin mods or default ones, you need to create a datapack and change the layer file for coolstuff, replacing replace:true with replace:false
