FabricTPA

FabricTPA is a server-side mod for Fabric/Quilt that enhances teleportation capabilities between players through a command system.

Main Commands

Most commands are available to all players on the server without special administrator privileges. The exception is /tpaconfig, which requires elevated permissions.

Core Teleportation Commands:

• /tpa <player> — send a teleportation request to the specified player
• /tpahere <player> — invite another player to teleport to you

Request Management:

• /tpacancel [<player>] — cancel a request you sent (player specification required with multiple active requests)
• /tpaaccept [<player>] — accept a received teleportation request
• /tpadeny [<player>] — decline a received request

Permission System

The mod supports two main permissions:

• fabrictpa.tpa — allows using basic teleportation commands
• fabrictpa.config — provides access to configuration editing via /tpaconfig

Configuration Settings

All parameters are configured through the /tpaconfig command and saved in the config/FabricTPA.properties file. There are 5 main options available:

Timeouts and Delays:

• timeout — time until automatic cancellation of unprocessed requests (default: 60 seconds)
• stand-still — duration of standing still after accepting a request (default: 5 seconds)
• cooldown — minimum interval between teleportations (default: 5 seconds)

Additional Parameters:

• disable-bossbar — disable boss bar indicator during teleportation wait (uses action bar instead)
• cooldown-mode — determines who the cooldown applies to:
  • WhoTeleported — to the teleported player
  • WhoInitiated — to the request initiator
  • BothUsers — to both participants

Compatibility

The mod works with Minecraft versions 1.16.2 and above (snapshots not fully tested) and requires FabricAPI installation.
