Main Concept

Factory0-Resources adds ore deposits to your world with a completely new approach to resource extraction:

• Minerals aren't physical blocks in the world - they exist as numerical data per chunk • Resource extraction requires building a special multiblock structure — the Deep Core Drill • Complete customization: you can add any items as potential deposits!

Work Process

  1. Player uses the Prospector's Pick to identify ores in the chunk
  2. The Deep Core Drill multiblock structure is assembled
  3. The installation is connected to a power source, configured, and equipped with the appropriate drill head
  4. Resources are automatically extracted from the depths!

Customizable Parameters

Configuration possibilities are virtually unlimited:

• All drill parameters: power consumption, required foundation blocks, drilling speed • Individual settings for each ore: frequency, vein stretch, total amount • Adding any items as extractable resources • Drill head characteristics: durability, harvest level, efficiency • Creating custom drill heads through configuration files

Performance Optimization

• Deposit generation uses Simplex Noise algorithm - one of the fastest pseudorandom number generation methods • Resource data storage per chunk prevents world file bloat • Minimal network synchronization transmitted strictly on-demand • Efficient 3D model rendering using FastTESR for batch processing
