Falling Down
Expand Block Physics in Minecraft
The Falling Down mod allows you to make any blocks in the game obey gravity, just like regular sand. Imagine a world where not only sand and gravel fall under the force of gravity, but many other blocks too!
Ready Settings and Flexible Configuration
By default, the mod is already configured to work with wood and leaves - logs and foliage will naturally fall if there's no support beneath them. But the real power of the mod lies in its flexibility: you can independently choose which specific blocks should obey gravity.
Simple Setup via JSON
To configure the mod's behavior, simply edit the falling_down.json file located in the data/tags folder inside the mod archive. You can add both individual blocks and entire groups through tags:
- To add a block group: #minecraft:logs
- To add a specific block: minecraft:dirt
Important Warnings
Be careful when adding blocks like stone or dirt - this can significantly slow down game performance, especially during mass collapses. In multiplayer games, make sure the server also has the corresponding configuration file.
