FallingTree - Revolutionary Tree Cutting Method
The FallingTree modification completely changes the approach to wood harvesting in Minecraft. Instead of methodically breaking each trunk block separately, you can fell an entire tree with just one hit!
Four different operating modes are available:
- Instant: Break one log block - and the entire tree instantly disappears
- Gradual Fall: Blocks slowly descend as you chop (perfect for those who want to maintain balance but don't like climbing for top blocks)
- Item Fall: The tree breaks with animation, and resources fall to the ground
- Block Fall: The entire tree falls to the ground in block form with animation

Numerous settings are available in the configuration file for fine-tuning:
- Definition of what is considered a tree (log blocks and foliage blocks)
- Configuration of tools that can be used (adding axes, allowing all tools, etc.)
- Enabling/disabling automatic foliage destruction
- Ability to disable the mod effect when sneaking (can be inverted)
- Changing work speed depending on tree size
- Tool wear settings (can set tool breakage based on number of blocks in the tree)
- Preserving tools at 1 durability when threatened with breakage
Compatibility and Requirements
- For Fabric users, Fabric API is required
- For Neoforge/Forge users, Cloth Config API is optional on the client and allows having a graphical configuration interface in the game
IMPORTANT: Starting from Minecraft 1.21, enchantments must be added separately through a datapack.
NOTE: On servers, this mod can work server-side only, client is not required (except when using the speed change feature and/or enchantment configurations).
