Fancy Battleaxes - Powerful Battle Axes for Minecraft
Fancy Battleaxes mod introduces a completely new weapon type to the game - the battle axe, which becomes an excellent choice for fans of powerful and spectacular attacks.
Battle axes feature unique characteristics: they deal significant damage but attack slower than most regular axes. Additionally, they can be used to mine the same blocks as standard axes, making them a versatile tool in combat and exploration.
Various crafting options are available from multiple materials, including compatibility with other mods. In settings, you can disable any materials - by default, only standard materials from vanilla game are active. Configuration allows fine-tuning all parameters of each material for perfect balance in specific modpacks.
Crafting Recipe
To create a battle axe, place 3 sticks in the central column and 4 ingots/gems in the upper free cells of the workbench.

The configuration system is divided into two main sections:
Available Tools
Here you'll find logical options for each supported material. If a parameter is set to false, the corresponding battle axe will be disabled. Disabled axes cannot be crafted, they don't appear in creative mode and JEI. However, already existing instances will continue to work and won't be deleted.
Tool Characteristics
In this section, each material has a separate subsection with settings for the following parameters:
- durability: number of uses before breaking
- harvest level: which blocks can be mined (in vanilla game: 1 = stone tool, 2 = iron, 3 = diamond)
- efficiency: block mining speed (in vanilla game: wood = 2, stone = 4, iron = 6, diamond = 8)
- attack damage: damage amount per hit
- attack speed: lower (more negative) values mean slower attack
- enchantability: higher values increase the probability of getting better enchantments
