
Far From Home Amplified
About the Modification
Far From Home Amplified represents a radically reimagined version of the original Far From Home mod, offering a more chaotic and engaging gaming experience. This version is particularly well-suited for survival gameplay thanks to its diverse terrain that combines extreme elevation changes with extensive flat areas.
Installation
The mod requires the following components:
- Open Terrain Generator V8
- Biome's O' Plenty
Simply place all required mods together with Far From Home Amplified in the mods folder. During the first launch, the game may load longer than usual - this is normal as OTG creates necessary files for the mod to function. If Minecraft enters a "not responding" state, just wait - this happens only once.
Important: When installing into a directory where a previous version of FFH or another OTG preset already existed, be sure to delete the "OTG-Core" folder in Mods → 1.12.2 and the old FarFromHome world folder in OpenTerrainGenerator → Worlds.

Useful Tips
For servers: Set parameters "level type=OTG", "world-generator=FarFromHome" and "level-name=FarFromHome_Amp".
For graphics enhancement: Use SEUS Renewed with settings: Atmospheric Density - 0.5, Tonemapping Curve - 6.0, Saturation - 1.5, Image sharpness - 1.0.
Recommendation: Use Dynamic Trees with the setting to replace all saplings with their dynamic versions for more realistic tree behavior.
