A simple Minecraft mod that allows you to mark favorite slots in your inventory.

Usage for Players

How does the mod work?

The mod adds a new key binding called "Favorite Slot", defaulted to the F key. When hovering over an item in your inventory and pressing this key, the corresponding slot is marked as favorite. If you are outside the inventory screen, the currently selected slot on the hotbar becomes favorite.

What actions does the mod block?

For favorite slots (including the hotbar), the following actions become unavailable:

• Moving the item within the slot
• Dropping the item
• Clearing the slot via the trash bin
• Quick-moving items into or out of this slot
• Swapping items with this slot

Where do the restrictions apply?

• In the player's inventory
• On the hotbar in any container
• In the off-hand slot
• In armor slots

For Developers

Integration with other mods

An API is available via dev.deftu.favorita.api.FavoritedSlots, allowing you to check the favorite status of slots. Functions are provided for checking, marking, and unmarking slots. Support is available for working with both the current identifier (when present) and a specified specific identifier.

What is an "identifier"?

Identifiers are strings that determine the current gaming environment. In singleplayer, the identifier value is constant as Singleplayer, while in multiplayer it corresponds to the address of the current server.
