Fighting Styles ⚔️
This datapack introduces a completely new combat method to Minecraft. Currently, it adds one fighting style - the sword/katana style with unique animations, five special movement techniques, and four different types of slashing attacks. A special progression system with stamina mechanics is implemented, which also develops with use!

❓ How to Get a Fighting Style?
Currently, only the sword/katana style is available. To master it, simply attack using a katana - with each strike, the chance of obtaining the style increases.
Sword Fighting Style 🤺
The style activates for katanas. Right-click to switch combat forms, then left-click to use abilities.
New techniques unlock by observing other mobs or players. In single-player, watch out for swordsmen zombies that occasionally spawn in the world.
⚡ Stamina System
How It Works
Using style abilities and dashing consumes stamina, which regenerates over time. Recovery rate depends on your exhaustion level, which can be: Low, Moderate, High, or Exhausted.
Reaching the Exhausted state and dropping stamina below 10% triggers Overexhaustion, immobilizing you.
Running prevents exhaustion from decreasing!
Progression ⬆️
While exhausted, your progression score increases. The higher your exhaustion level, the more points you gain. After exhaustion ends, your maximum stamina capacity will increase after some time (unless you become exhausted again).
Not using your stamina gradually reduces it to 50% of your best recorded result.
💨 Dashing
Activation
Rapid double-tapping of any movement keys: Forward, Backward, Left, Right - activates a dash in the corresponding direction.
Pressing other keys resets the count. For example:
- Forward → Backward → Forward - dash will not occur
- Backward → Backward - backward dash will occur
To perform a dash, you must:
- Be on the ground
- Have dash cooldown ready
- Possess sufficient stamina (50 units)
Skill Development
The more you dash, the more powerful they become. Distance increases and stamina cost decreases.
Extended lack of practice gradually diminishes your dash proficiency level.
