Finite Water Control
Radically changes water and fluid physics
Finite Water Control represents a functional continuation of the Regional Water modification, expanding water resource management capabilities. The mod fundamentally reworks the mechanics of forming new water sources beyond certain boundaries.
Main Concept
The modification provides realistic limitations on water in the game world. Water no longer creates infinite sources where it's not allowed by configuration settings. This mandatory condition applies outside specified dimensions, biomes, or height levels (Y-coordinates).
Key Features
- Complete liquid control: You can configure restrictions not only for water but also for other fluids through the config file
- Flexible zoning: Can define allowed regions by dimensions, biomes, and heights
- Realistic resource usage: Players must carefully plan their water supply systems
Benefits for pack creators
Modified pack developers can use FWC to create more complex resource economies. Players have access to pumping water from natural sources (oceans, rivers), but creating traditional infinite water farms becomes impossible.
Customization for specific needs
The configuration file allows fine-tuning of exactly which fluids and under what conditions are limited, providing complete flexibility for specific gaming needs.
