Flan (Forge) - Server Territory Protection
This is the Forge version of Flan mod - a completely server-side solution for marking and protecting land plots in Minecraft.
If you want to create a public server without using Bukkit/Spigot and similar platforms, you'll face the lack of reliable world protection. Flan solves this problem by providing a comprehensive territory protection system for modded servers.

Main Features
Flan (originally from Fabric LANd) allows you to create and manage protected zones in your Minecraft world. Using commands, graphical interface, and world interactions, you can easily configure and control these territories. The mod works exclusively on the server side - you can set up a server with Flan and connect to it using a standard Minecraft client.
Territory System
Protected zones are land areas with restricted access rights to prevent griefing. By default, the protection depth is 10 blocks (configurable), meaning protection extends 10 blocks downward from the marking point without upward limitations. This allows free resource mining under protected areas, but the territory automatically expands if players start building below.

Additional Functions
The system supports nested territories for creating urban structures, where each inner zone has its own access rights settings. SubClaim-Mode allows editing nested territories. Administrators can create special zones accessible only to users with permission level 2 and above.
Getting Started
To create protected territories, you'll need a golden hoe (default tool). When holding the tool, information about available and used territory blocks is displayed.
To create a protected zone, right-click on one block to select the first corner, then on another block to set the opposite corner. Upon successful creation, you'll receive a corresponding message; otherwise, information about the error reason. Alternatively, you can use the /flan addClaim command.
Territory Management
Resizing territory is done by right-clicking on one of the corners of an existing zone and then selecting a new corner. To check block status, use the inspection tool (default - stick). While inside a territory and entering the /flan menu command, you'll open a graphical interface for additional zone configuration.
