Fleecifer (Quilt/Fabric/NeoForge/Legacy Fabric)

Fleecifer is a Minecraft modification that completely changes sheep behavior in the game. Instead of the peaceful creatures players are accustomed to, sheep become aggressive and attack the player upon encounter.

System Requirements

One of the following loaders is required for the mod to work:

  • Quilt Loader (recommended) with QSL installed
  • Fabric Loader with Fabric API installed
  • NeoForge
  • Legacy Fabric with Legacy Fabric API installed

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Fleecifer work with other mods that change sheep behavior?

The mod has not been tested for compatibility with other modifications affecting sheep behavior. Conflicts may occur when used simultaneously.

Is Forge supported?

No, the mod only works with Quilt, Fabric, and NeoForge. However, other developers can port it to other platforms while complying with the LGPL-3.0-or-later license terms.

Can Fleecifer be used in modpacks and videos?

Yes, usage in modpacks and video content is permitted.

Will there be versions for older Minecraft versions?

The author is unlikely to create ports for specific versions, as the mod was created for entertainment purposes. Other developers can port it themselves while complying with licensing terms.

How to remove the sheep texture changes?

The sheep eyes are represented by separate textures located at fleecifer:textures/entity/sheep/sheep_eyes.png and fleecifer:textures/entity/sheep/sheep_eyes_emissive.png. They can be replaced with blank textures via a resource pack.

In the version for Minecraft 1.12.2, separate textures are absent - instead, the standard sheep texture is replaced. To return to the original appearance, a resource pack can also be used.
