Flint Tools - Stone Age Equipment

Flint Tools is a minimalist Minecraft 1.19 modification that fundamentally transforms the early game experience. Instead of traditional wooden and stone tools, you'll need to master the art of crafting flint-based equipment.

Core Features

This mod completely removes crafting recipes for standard wooden and stone tools. If you're using other mods that add tools of similar tiers, you can also make them uncraftable by adding their item IDs to the appropriate tags.

One of the key mechanics is simplified flint acquisition from gravel - it can now be converted directly in the crafting grid, eliminating the need to repeatedly break blocks hoping for flint drops.

New Tools and Weapons

The mod introduces a comprehensive set of flint tools:

• Flint knife
• Flint axe (note the unique crafting recipe with a single stick - this allows creation without a crafting table)
• Flint pickaxe
• Flint shovel
• Flint hoe

As an alternative to the flint knife, a wooden club has been added with stats comparable to a wooden sword.

Game Balance

To maintain gameplay pace, block breaking speed without tools has been halved, encouraging players to actively search for gravel and create their first tools as early as possible.
