Fluxed-Crystals 2

Have you ever dreamed of growing ores but didn't want to be called a "cheater" because the process was too simple or overpowered? Fluxed-Crystals 2 offers an elegant solution to this problem!

What are crystals?

The mod adds various crystals to the game that can be grown to obtain valuable resources. These crystals come in different forms and types, each corresponding to a specific material.

Creating seeds

To get started, you'll need a Seed Infuser - a device for creating crystal seeds. Its recipe requires having visited the Nether first. After creation, simply place the infuser, open the interface, put a Universal Seed in the left slot and the desired material in the right slot.

Growing crystals

To grow crystals, you need Powered Soil, which comes in several variants:

• Powered Soil - uses RF energy for crystal growth
• Mana Soil - operates on mana from the Botania mod
• EU Soil - consumes energy from Industrial-Craft 2

After supplying energy to the chosen soil type, simply right-click on it with a seed in hand - and the growing process will begin!

Harvesting and processing

When crystals reach their final growth stage, you can harvest them with right-click for replanting or break them to get Rough Shards. This is where the real work begins!

Precious metals are hidden under layers of rock and sand - you'll need to clean them from impurities. For this, you'll need a Gem Cutter - a simple machine with input and output slots, plus the ability to install upgrades.

Place Rough Shards in the left slot and take Smooth Shards from the right.

Crystal purification

Although Smooth Shards have been cleared of external impurities, crystals still contain invisible contaminants. For final purification, create a Gem Refiner - another simple machine with input and output. After processing, you'll get pure material!

Upgrades and tools

All machines and powered soil support upgrade installation. To add an upgrade to soil, use right-click; to remove - Shift+right-click. Each soil can hold up to 3 upgrades:

• Speed - reduces process/growth time
• Efficiency - decreases energy consumption
• Automation - automatically harvests mature crystals

To increase yield, use a Scythe. Scythes are available from different materials:

• Wooden
• Stone
• Iron
• Golden
• Diamond

Each successive scythe gives a greater chance of obtaining additional products.

Additional features

The mod adds tools for all generated seeds and two new commands:

• /fluxedcrystals seed-from-current - creates a template seed based on the item in hand
• /fluxedcrystals seed-editor - opens a convenient editor for creating new seeds

For viewing recipes, it's recommended to use the Not Enough Items mod.

Important: Worlds from the previous version of Fluxed-Crystals are incompatible with this mod version.
