Fog Tweaker

Fog Tweaker allows modpack creators and players to add fully customizable fog to biomes in Minecraft.
About the Modification
This mod is designed for those who want complete control over fog in Minecraft. Through configuration settings, you can adjust fog density, color scheme, and add particles around the character.
Feature Overview
One interesting capability is creating poisonous fog that deals damage on direct contact. This feature is disabled by default but can be activated in settings along with parameters for damage delay and damage strength.
Developers aim to make the modification as flexible as possible in configuration. If you have suggestions for adding new configuration options - they are always welcome.
Previously the project was called Fog World, but was renamed to Fog Tweaker as more accurately reflecting the mod's essence.
Fog Configuration
The system uses JSON configuration files, allowing fine-tuning of fog parameters for each biome separately.
Client and Server Installation
If you're only interested in visual fog display (without poisonous effects and other features), the mod can work exclusively on the client side without needing installation on the server. However, server installation is also fully supported.
Planned Updates
- Different fog settings for daytime and nighttime
- In-game editor for biome JSON configurations
Integration with Other Mods
Other modifications can interact with Fog Tweaker through the InterModComms system. Currently, only biome setting overrides are available, but functionality may be expanded in the future.
Licensing
The project is distributed under the MIT license, which permits use in modpacks.
