Food Funk - Realistic Food Spoilage

Why does my backpack smell so strange? This mod adds a realistic food spoilage system to Minecraft where food items deteriorate over time unless kept in special storage containers.

Key Features

The most important aspect - food actually spoils! You can configure any items to transform into other items or disappear entirely over specified time periods. All parameters are adjustable: from timing to spoilage consequences.

Preservation Containers

To protect your supplies from spoiling, use special preserving containers - the Larder Box and Icebox. Each can completely stop, slow down, or even accelerate spoilage - this too can be configured to meet your needs. You can also add your own container types through the mod configuration.

Location Effects

Spoilage speed isn't just affected by time, but also by location! In the Nether, food spoils twice as fast as normal, while truly bizarre things happen in the End. Furthermore - you can configure spoilage modification for any dimension, creating unique survival conditions in each world.

Compatibility and Fine-Tuning

The preset parameter package already includes support for vanilla Minecraft and most popular food-adding mods. The mod is compatible with absolutely any items from any mods, including support for tag names for convenient configuration.

For classic edition lovers: this version added support for TheOneProbe, Hwyla, and Waila mods to display additional information about food condition. Also imported the Freeze and Еsky containers from the abandoned EnviroMine mod.
