Foolproof

Foolproof is a specialized addon for modpack developers that resolves numerous typical issues causing player misunderstandings. This significantly reduces the number of false error reports, incorrect technical support requests, and negative feedback in communities. The mod achieves this by improving system message wording, optimizing user interface, and providing clearer instructions for troubleshooting common problems.
Core Minecraft Improvements
Added AI usage warning in crash reports: when users paste error messages into ChatGPT, the system instructs the artificial intelligence to direct them to Discord for qualified assistance (AI often provides incorrect recommendations for Minecraft modifications and may erroneously blame Connector, leading to removal of critical components and modpack breakdown).
Changed the wording from "Available Resourcepacks" to "Optional Resourcepacks" (previously players mistakenly believed these packs were disabled by error and required mandatory activation).
Improved error message when attempting to use commands in survival mode (the standard system simply states "Unknown Command", even if the command actually exists).
Replaced technical message "Connection timed out: getsockopt" with understandable explanation and troubleshooting instructions (often occurs when connecting to firewall-protected servers).
Added chat notification 5 seconds after complete server loading, informing about readiness for connection (many users couldn't determine the exact moment startup completed).
Disabled display of "Can't keep up!" message during the first two minutes of operation (servers typically experience increased load during startup, which players mistakenly perceive as lag).
Compatible Modifications Optimization
When grave mods are installed (YIGD, Universal Graves, Corpse) and player dies in the void, the system automatically notifies in chat about the preservation of death location (many users don't return for their items!).
With BetterEnd or BetterNether present, added warning before possibility of changing "BetterX" world type in settings (this can easily lead to save file corruption).
FTB Quests Enhancements
Players receive reminder about Quest Book existence through ImmersiveMessages system upon first world entry (new participants often don't know about this feature!).
Removed automatic quest pinning button (caused confusion among users and lacked practical value).
Sidebar now defaults to open state (previously many players got stuck on the initial screen without understanding further actions).
