Note: After Vanilla's rendering changes, the mod in versions 1.21.5 and higher doesn't properly disable loading screens during server switches and instead displays a black screen. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix this ^^/haven't had time to look into it.

Disabling World Loading Screens

This mod completely removes the world loading screen and reconfiguration screen. In Vanilla, this may cause brief client-to-server position desynchronization, but on Paper and modded servers you'll experience nearly normal gameplay without flashing loading screens.

Accelerating Resource Pack Loading

The mod significantly reduces the display time of the resource pack loading screen by removing forced fade-ins and fade-outs. This is especially noticeable on fast builds that load almost instantly.

Switching Between Servers

Additionally, the mod fixes a Sodium issue where a 30-second terrain loading screen appears on Paper servers.

Original Issue (for Minecraft 1.18.2-1.19.2 and mod version 1.1.1)

THE TEXT BELOW APPLIES ONLY TO 1.18.2-1.19.2 WITH MOD VERSION 1.1.1

Say goodbye to 2-5 second world loading screens when connecting to servers or switching worlds! Starting from version 1.18.2, the client only leaves the world loading screen after receiving the chunk where the player is located... and at least 2 seconds have passed.

By default, the mod fixes this behavior. Additionally, you can completely eliminate the screen. The mod also resolves the infinite loading issue with Sodium on Paper servers during connection/respawn.

Complete Screen Removal

If you want to completely remove the world loading screen, you can enable the corresponding setting in the configuration (this requires modmenu and Cloth Config API). Note that this reintroduces a client bug where you may briefly (only visually) fall through the world if you have a slow internet connection or the server loads chunks slowly after world changes.
