Foregoing RubberTrees
What is this?
I've always liked Industrial Foregoing, but as part of modpacks, Minefactory Reloaded offered some elements that weren't included in its successor. Rubber trees were particularly appealing - they had a unique appearance and represented an interesting alternative to those offered by IC2.
Foregoing RubberTrees is an exact recreation of rubber trees from MineFactory Reloaded as a separate module that can be used alongside Industrial Foregoing and other mods requiring rubber and/or plastic.
What's included?
The mod adds configurable world generation that places rubber trees in specified biomes and/or dimensions. Rubber tree saplings are also available for independent cultivation. When breaking each block of rubber wood, raw rubber drops, which can be smelted into a rubber bar (used in any recipes accepting itemRubber). This bar can then be processed into raw plastic, from which plastic sheets are created.
If desired, you can exclude plastic sheets from Industrial Foregoing from the itemRubber ore dictionary, since this mod provides its own rubber bars for these purposes.
Can I use it in modpacks?
Absolutely. I also don't object to creating derivative versions or any code modifications. I don't claim rights to the resources used in this mod. HOWEVER - monetizing this mod or any packs using it is prohibited.
Localization?
If you want to add a new language and are willing to help with translation, contact me. The localization file contains only 11 lines, so it won't be difficult.
