🗿 Forgotten Ruins

The Forgotten Ruins modification fills the Minecraft world with mysterious temples and lost artifacts hidden deep within jungles, swamps, and mangrove forests.
Created under the influence of the dark fantasy atmosphere of Shadow of the Colossus, this modification invites players to explore long-abandoned sanctuaries - remnants of an ancient civilization guarded by silent golems that awaken upon your approach.
For the mod to work, Dawn of Time and Armor of the Ages are required (along with their dependencies)

🔍 What Awaits You
You'll encounter unique ruins crafted by hand, with secrets, parkour, traps, and thematic loot. Dark, decayed architecture blends organically into the landscapes of jungles, swamps, and mangrove forests.
Features include:
- Special loot tables: damaged relics, cursed treasures, forgotten weapons and potions
- Guardian golems: silent sentinels - some still vigilant, others have become unstable
- A combination of exploration, tension, and generous rewards for those who reach the heart of the ruins
- Every ruin is unique - each has its own layout, history, and dangers

Game Design
Forgotten Ruins is not just decoration. Each structure represents a mini-dungeon where you'll need to explore, climb, avoid traps, and confront ancient defense systems.
The mod rewards risk-taking players - loot is rare, powerful, and often connected to the Armor of the Ages modification (worn legendary armor, gold, potions, and enchanted relics).

Mod Ecosystem
Forgotten Ruins is part of the Dawn of Time mod family. It uses building blocks, mobs, and loot resources from the following modifications:
- Dawn of Time – core resources and historical blocks
- Armor of the Ages – animated armor models and equipment
- Ancient Structures – cultural world generation
These mods work independently but complement each other, creating a rich experience of exploration and world-building.
