Fox's Combat Log
Fox's Combat Log is a specialized Minecraft mod that prevents players from exiting the game during combat. This solution is aimed at maintaining fair gameplay and preventing unfair tactics to avoid battles.
Core Functionality
When a player is in combat state and attempts to leave the server, they are assigned a corresponding timer. In case of premature disconnection with punishment enabled, the character automatically dies, ignoring all existing armor, active effects, and even Totems of Undying protection, with subsequent dropping of all inventory items on the ground.
Configuration Parameters
The modification includes a flexible configuration tool with access to the configuration file at config/Combat Log/combat-log_config.toml. Main adjustable parameters include:
- Combat Timer (
combatTimer) - defines the time interval without taking damage or attacking other players to exit combat mode - Player Punishment (
punishPlayer) - parameter activating the punishment system for premature exit (deactivation makes this mod practically useless) - Combat Message (
combatMessage) - forms a notification for the player during combat participation with the ability to include time via the special parameter%timer%
