Fractured Bones & more
This mod fundamentally changes gameplay by adding a realistic bone damage system to Minecraft. Now your character can suffer various injuries that significantly impact their abilities and survival.
New Interface and Mechanics
To access the bone inventory, use shears. To open another player's bone inventory, hold Shift and right-click on them with shears in hand.

Each bone has a health bar with a maximum value of 24 HP, where each segment equals 3 units.



Bone Crafting
Bones are crafted using a bone carver. For creation, place a pickaxe in the center slot, and add at least one bone block or bone block with rotten flesh to the top left slots. Then select the desired option from the nine right slots.


Bone Types and Their Effects
Each bone type (skull, arms, spine, ribs, legs) affects the player differently depending on the damage level.
Skull
- Normal: No effects
- Gone: Cranial vulnerability (when taking damage, chance to get concussion that blocks movement and world interaction for 30 seconds)
Right Arm
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Limits items in right hand to 48
- Shattered: Limits items in right hand to 32
- Gone: Limits items in right hand to 16

Left Arm
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Limits items in left hand to 48
- Shattered: Limits items in left hand to 32
- Gone: Limits items in left hand to 16

Right Rib
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Increases damage taken from attacks
- Shattered: Greatly increases damage taken from attacks and reduces health by 1
- Gone: Significantly increases damage taken from attacks and reduces health by 2

Left Rib
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Increases damage taken from attacks
- Shattered: Greatly increases damage taken from attacks and reduces health by 1
- Gone: Significantly increases damage taken from attacks and reduces health by 2

Spine
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Increases damage taken from fall damage
- Shattered: Greatly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting
- Gone: Causes paralysis, significantly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting

Right Leg
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Increases damage taken from fall damage
- Shattered: Greatly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting (if other leg is also damaged)
- Gone: Significantly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting

Left Leg
- Normal: No effects
- Broken: Increases damage taken from fall damage
- Shattered: Greatly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting (if other leg is also damaged)
- Gone: Significantly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting

Rotten Bones
The mod also includes rotten bone versions that have more severe effects:
- Rotten Right Arm: Limits items in right hand to 32 (normal) or 16 (gone)
- Rotten Left Arm: Limits items in left hand to 32 (normal) or 16 (gone)
- Rotten Right Rib: Greatly increases damage taken from attacks and reduces health by 1 (normal) or significantly increases damage and reduces health by 2 (gone)
- Rotten Left Rib: Greatly increases damage taken from attacks and reduces health by 1 (normal) or significantly increases damage and reduces health by 2 (gone)
- Rotten Spine: Greatly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting (normal) or causes paralysis, significantly increases fall damage and blocks sprinting (gone)
- Rotten Right Leg: Greatly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting (normal) or significantly increases fall damage and blocks sprinting (gone)
- Rotten Left Leg: Greatly increases damage taken from fall damage and blocks sprinting (normal) or significantly increases fall damage and blocks sprinting (gone)

The mod is currently in beta testing. Future updates plan to add new tiers, items, and the ability to take bones from mobs.
