Fragile Blocks - Block Destruction Physics
The mod draws inspiration from TerraFirmaCraft's realistic physics, adding new environmental interaction mechanics to Minecraft!
Core Features
Unstable surfaces are now a reality! Certain blocks begin to collapse if they're supported by fewer than two adjacent side blocks. When lower blocks are broken, upper structures lose their foundation and fall downward.
Configure which specific materials can cause cave-ins during mining, and specify the probability of such events. We recommend always wearing protective helmets - safety comes first!
Falling blocks can fracture into other material types. For example, stone transforms into cobblestone, adding realism to the destruction process.
Support Structures
Define certain blocks as support columns. Properly placed columns (having solid blocks below and above them) prevent collapse physics from activating for surrounding blocks, allowing for stable underground constructions.
For safe extraction of materials prone to cave-ins (such as stone), you need to ensure open access to all six sides of the block. After this, the block can be collected without collapse risk.
Configuration
The mod provides flexible configuration options: you can completely disable the cave-in system or make falling blocks not damage players.
