Friendly Griefing
What does this mod do?
Friendly Griefing provides a simple yet effective solution for fine-tuning mob behavior rules in Minecraft. The mod's main function is to allow certain creatures to bypass the restrictions of the mobGriefing game rule when it's disabled.
How it works
By default, the mod adds villagers (minecraft:villager) to the allowlist, enabling them to perform their normal activities even with mobGriefing = false. This doesn't change the game's core logic - the mod simply allows selected entities to pass through the mobGriefing rule check.
Why this matters
The main issue this mod addresses relates to villager breeding. When mobGriefing is disabled, villagers cannot pick up items from the ground, making their breeding impossible. Friendly Griefing fixes this problem while maintaining protection against destructive actions from other mobs.
