Frost and Ignis Mod
Frost and Ignis mod enriches Minecraft with diverse weaponry, tools, armor, and items inspired by fire and ice elemental forces. The foundation of this expansion is built upon two fundamental elements: Ignis (fire) and Frost (ice), which dramatically enhance both combat capabilities and exploration gameplay.
🔥 Fire Element
The arsenal of fire-themed items includes:
- Weapons and tools: Ignis Sword, Ignis Axe, Ignis Pickaxe and similar equipment
- Armor: Complete protective suit (helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots)
- Unique effects: Enemies ignite upon strike, experience blindness, and suffer lasting burn damage
- Peak power: HellFire Axe removes fire resistance from opponents and grants Bloodlust ability - kills restore health and strengthen the player
- Resources and blocks: Ignis Gem, Powdered Ignis, Impure Ignis, Hellfire Scale. Ores can be discovered in Overworld, Nether and End dimensions
❄️ Ice Element
Ice-themed equipment offers:
- Weapons and tools: Frost Sword, Ice Axe, Frost Pickaxe and other variations
- Armor: Full ice armor set
- Cold abilities: Opponents are slowed, water instantly freezes, and lava transforms into obsidian
- Maximum power: BlackIce Axe grants immunity to fire (Coldblooded) and temporary invisibility after kills (Traceless)
- Ice-themed resources: Frost Gem, Raw Frost Gem, Blackice Scale. Ores come in various forms including deepslate variations
Additional Features
The mod incorporates numerous supplementary mechanics:
- Metal Detector: Excellent tool for locating valuable underground resources
- Exotic food: Spicy chili peppers, Carolina Reaper, and lethally hot Sandwich of Death
- Special achievements: Engaging challenges like defeating a Blaze with FireAxe or eliminating a Stray with IceAxe
