Frost Arrows

This mod fundamentally changes the behavior of stray skeletons in snowy biomes. Instead of regular slowness arrows, these icy opponents now use truly dangerous weapons.

Main Features

Stray skeletons from snowy biomes now shoot arrows that apply a freezing effect to targets for 10 seconds. This completely replaces the previous slowness effect, making encounters with these mobs much more dangerous.

Killed stray skeletons now drop frozen arrows instead of the previous slowness arrows. This allows players to use this powerful weapon against enemies themselves.

To obtain frozen arrows in creative mode, you can use the command: /loot give @s loot frost_arrows:frost_arrow

Technical Features

Item names and descriptions support three language localizations: simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and English.

For the freezing effect to work properly on players, installation of the additional mod "Modify Player Data" is required.

The mod implements its functions through a custom enchantment "frost_arrows". If books with this enchantment appear in the creative mode inventory, they can be safely ignored - this is a technical implementation feature.
