Fuel Canister - Efficient Fuel System
The Fuel Canister modification is a simple but practical addition that introduces a special fuel container into the game. This item can be filled with various types of combustible materials and used in a furnace for maximum smelting efficiency.
Methods of Refueling the Canister
There are two main ways to replenish fuel in the canister:
- Combining the canister with any burnable material in the crafting grid
- Using the right mouse button on the item, which automatically consumes all suitable fuel from the player's inventory (works only with materials specified in the configuration)
It's important to note that the right-click method does not function in creative mode, which is a feature of the modification, not a bug.
Creative Version of the Canister
For players in creative mode, a special version of the canister is available in the corresponding inventory tab. This variant does not consume fuel when used and serves as an infinite energy source for smelting operations.

Configuration Settings
The modification uses the standard Forge configuration format and offers three main parameters for customization. All options are thoroughly documented in the toml files.
The key setting autoFuels determines which specific items will be automatically used when refueling the canister via the right mouse button. This is a list of elements where each can be specified as a simple item identifier or in JSON-ingredient format, similar to crafting recipes. Quotes in ingredient descriptions must be escaped with a backslash.
