Introduction to New Resources

This mod features a powerful ore generation configuration system that allows creating veins from any Minecraft blocks. Each such vein can contain multiple block types with varying appearance probabilities.

In addition to the configuration system, the mod includes a collection of ores that drop items corresponding to various creatures' loot. Most of them provide the same items as their respective mobs, but some rarer resources are replaced with shards. Four such shards can be crafted into a complete item.

Technical Requirements

Silent Lib library is required for proper operation. When installing through CurseForge client, it should download automatically. For manual installation, make sure to download the latest version of the library.

Types of Added Ores

Meat Ores (Peaceful Mob Drops)

These ores when mined yield not only meat but also other items related to corresponding animals - leather, wool, and more. By default, loot tables of most such ores reference loot tables of their respective mobs, but there are exceptions. You can configure them to drop additional items or completely change the loot.

By default, these ores are quite rare.

Hostile Mob Ores

The mod also adds ores corresponding to hostile mobs! Like meat ores, they are rare finds and have their own loot tables. For example, enderman ore by default drops ender pearl shards instead of complete pearls. Four shards can be crafted into one pearl. A similar system works for blaze, ghast, and phantom ores - they also drop shards instead of complete items.

By default, these ores are also rare discoveries.
