Fureniku's Roads - Create Your Dream Roads in Minecraft
Fureniku's Roads mod opens up endless possibilities for creating realistic road systems in the Minecraft world. This project is entirely dedicated to road construction and offers incredible design flexibility.
You have access to 19 different types of road surfaces, including 5 variants based on standard blocks (stone, grass, gravel, dirt, and sand). Each road can be customized in height - 16 levels are available. But the real magic begins with road markings: over 80 patterns in three color options allow you to create intersections, pedestrian crossings, and markings of any complexity.
What is this mod for?
This is primarily a decorative mod that allows you to realize your creative ideas in urban construction. It's perfect for creating realistic cities, transportation systems, and roleplay builds. The mod's capabilities are best demonstrated by screenshots from the modified version of the "City of Newisle" project by Blip Noir.
Lighting Features
The lighting system in Fureniku's Roads works with special technology. Street lights create artificial light sources at their base, providing more natural and visually pleasing illumination compared to standard Minecraft solutions.
The current version already includes the first street lights, barriers, and reflectors. Important note: reflectors may display incorrectly with Optifine installed.
Crafting and Survival
All mod elements are fully available in survival mode. The developer has moved away from their previous policy and created full crafting recipes for all items. Recipes can be found through JEI or on the project's official website.
Paint Gun for Markings
The paint gun deserves special attention - a specialized tool for applying road markings. It's equally useful in both survival and creative modes. Fill it with paint (in survival mode), choose the color and pattern - and you're ready to work!
The paint gun significantly simplifies managing different types of markings, eliminating the need to fill the quick access panel. The "pick block" function (middle mouse button by default) allows you to instantly load the marking you're looking at into the tool.
Blue border around a marking option indicates that it's a multi-block structure that will connect to neighboring elements. The display and tanks on the paint gun model are fully functional!
