

FXBuildup
This modification brings to Minecraft the mechanic of gradual potion effect buildup, inspired by games like Elden Ring. Instead of instant application, the potion effect begins to work gradually, filling a special buildup bar.
Configuration and Compatibility
All parameters are fully customizable through datapacks. You can mark specific potions to work with the buildup system and set individual settings for each potion or entity type using JSON recipes. Modified effects are supported without issues. The only limitation is that instant potions (such as damage) do not currently work with this system.
Additional Features
If you only need the effect buildup system without additional mechanics, you can easily disable dodging and stamina through the corresponding configuration settings. There is also an option to completely reset effect buildup when resting in a bed.
Technical Features
The mod is designed to be as lightweight and efficient as possible. It adds new capabilities and attributes that can be used by other mods to increase resistance to effects and interact with effect buildup and stamina systems.
Stamina System
Stamina is consumed when performing the following actions:
- Sprinting
- Jumping
- Dodging
- Melee attacks
- Blocking
If the stamina level becomes too low, performing these actions becomes impossible.
Supported Effects
By default, the system affects the following effects:
- Poison
- Levitation
- Slowness
- Mining Fatigue
- Nausea
- Blindness
- Hunger
- Weakness
- Wither
