Game Rules
The mod allows configuring game rules in existing worlds without enabling cheats or commands! Multiple mod variants are available, each determining which specific parameters can be modified. To access the game rule editing screen, use Mod Menu or the special key combination created by the mod (not assigned by default).
Available Editing Rules
The list of game rules available for modification depends on the installed mod version and the gaming environment. Each variation (base, technical, and hardcore) offers a unique set of customizable rules.
On multiplayer servers, rules available for editing through the mod are limited to the version installed on the server side and require operator permissions to use.
Single player features:
The same rule lists apply in single player, but with minor adjustments depending on cheat mode activation in your world:
- If cheats are enabled, the list of available rules expands by one level (e.g., hardcore version shows rules from technical version, technical shows rules from base version)
- In hardcore survival, regardless of the mod version, rules can be changed only once! This restriction was added for balance, allowing long-running hardcore worlds to adjust settings (such as vine spreading) that might not have been available when the world was created years ago
The mod displays the date and exact time each rule was changed in your world, providing transparency for other players.
