Gimme That Gimmick

Gimme That Gimmick is a server-side extension for Cobblemon that integrates unique features from different Pokémon generations and their associated items into the game.

It's important to note that this mod implements the items themselves, but their acquisition through gameplay and the creation of visual effects must be configured by users independently. Server owners need to develop item acquisition methods and ensure the visual presentation of gameplay mechanics themselves.

Compatibility and Features

This modification version is specifically designed for Fabric-based servers and partially transfers functionality from Mega Showdown. For single-player gameplay, small private servers, or work with NeoForge, it's recommended to use the original Mega Showdown mod to get a comprehensive and fully integrated gaming experience.

Key Items

• The system includes special devices: Mega Evolution Bracelets, Z-Rings, Dynamax Bands, and Tera Spheres implemented as polymer items.
• Added four types of enchantments: Key Stone, Z-Power, Dynamax, and Terastal, allowing enchanted items to function as key devices.
• Also present are four data components corresponding to various gameplay mechanics, enabling applied items to serve as key gameplay elements.

Technical Capabilities

Developers are provided with specialized classes for Mega Stones, Z-Crystals for types and Pokémon species, which simplifies the integration of additional modifications. Dependent mods can implement custom functionality through the mixin mechanism according to their needs.

Tera Shards

Tera shards are used in groups of 50 pieces to change a Pokémon's tera type. The current type can be checked by applying a Tera Sphere to the selected Pokémon.
