Glimmering Gardens

Glimmering Gardens is a compact addon that aims to bring more vibrancy to specific Minecraft biomes.

Project Inception

Currently, the modification only adds fireflies and related elements to the world, but developers plan to implement many other interesting features in future updates.

Fireflies - The Main Feature

These miniature creatures consisting of just two pixels will illuminate the nights of the Overworld. You can encounter them in the following biomes: birch forests, swamps, mangrove swamps, sunflower plains, and meadows.

Fireflies can be caught in special glass containers - up to eight insects in one bottle. A fully filled firefly bottle can be used to craft a lantern that will serve as an excellent decorative element for your home or garden.

Behavioral Features

Fireflies exhibit instinctive behavior - they tend to move towards nearby light sources and gather in groups. This creates a realistic atmosphere of a living world and adds charm to night landscapes.
