Global Settings v3
This mod has been completely rewritten and offers a completely new approach to managing settings in Minecraft. No more constantly setting up each game instance from scratch!
Main Features
Mod Support - Your mod settings, including keybindings, are preserved and not lost when switching between different game versions.
Auto-Loading Control - Modpacks can now safely include this mod without conflicts. Auto-loading works at the global level, not for individual instances.
Flexible File Storage - Use the Java environment variable "-Dmaster.properties.location=" to specify the location of the master settings file. In Linux, the "XDG_CONFIG_HOME" system property is used by default, which complies with file specification standards.
Settings Management - All settings are manually updated. Once you have your setup exactly how you want it? Save the options and never worry about them again!
Getting Started
Find any Minecraft instance to start with (the more mods installed, the better the long-term results). Set all parameters as you like, then click the "Update Master" button in the game settings menu.
Place the mod in any other Minecraft instances and use the "Load Master" button to copy settings from the master file. That's it - enjoy consistent settings across all game versions!
The location of the master file can be found in the game logs, where the mod logs all information about its operation.
