Goblin's Tyranny

The Goblin's Tyranny modification introduces a completely new species of creatures to Minecraft - goblins inspired by RPG fantasy universes. These unique mobs inhabit the overworld, residing in specially created goblin villages and other isolated structures.

Most goblins are hostile towards players unless they disguise themselves as goblins (more details in the "Gameplay" section). However, some representatives of this people, such as the Bartender and Goblin Trader, are willing to interact even with undisguised players, offering valuable mushrooms.

Wandering Goblin

Wanderer

The wandering goblin can be found anywhere in the overworld. He is not aggressive and is willing to exchange gold coins (found in goblin structures) for valuable items, including the decoy.

Decoy

The decoy can only be obtained through trading with the wandering goblin. When thrown, it creates a false target that forces everyone around to attack it.

Structures

Village

Goblin villages are found in plains biomes. Although finding them is not easy, many surprises await inside.

Structures in the village

Each village is randomly generated - buildings, decorations, and the central square are always unique. In addition to villages, small structures can be found throughout the world: camps, watchtowers, and even merchant caravans.

Small structures

Mobs

Mini Goblins

Mini Gobs

Mini goblins are the most common and basic representatives of their species. Their small size allows them to move stealthily, and in groups they can create real chaos. Sometimes you can get a loincloth from them for your collection.

Drunk Mini Goblins

Mini Gobs (Drunk)

Drunk mini goblins inhabit taverns and do not show aggression unless attacked. Goblin liquor has made them more resilient and stronger - be careful, otherwise they will attack all together.

Bard

The bard peacefully plays music on the second floor of the tavern, enhancing surrounding goblins who listen to his melodies. He does not attack the player but pushes them away if they get too close. You can get music discs from him.

Bartender

Bartender

The bartender is always happy to welcome visitors to her tavern. You can purchase various types of liquor from her - both for a pleasant evening and for creating explosives.

Merchant

Merchant

The merchant can always be found in his caravan almost anywhere in the world. He sells goblin goods: a bag of bombs, engineer scrap, and random hides. Perhaps there's a way to get his beautiful hat?

Merchant GUI

Blacksmith

Blacksmith

The blacksmith is very useful for creating an ingot that only goblins know how to make. This goblin ingot allows you to repair goblin weapons and upgrade valuable armor.

Blacksmith GUI

If you don't want to use the custom interface, you can enable the "vanillaGUI" game rule (in development).

Warriors

Warriors

Warriors are fierce goblins who defend their village at any cost. They block attacks before launching their own offensive. You can get weapons from them.

Hunters

Hunters

Hunters are primitive goblins who pursue players from a distance by shooting with a bow. You can get hides from them.

Engineer

Engineer

Unlike hunters, the engineer strives to develop village technology. He experiments with explosives, regularly injuring himself and his allies, which is why he created a healing drone. You can get bombs, engineer scrap, and a bomb bag from him.

Engineeress

Engineeress

The engineeress doesn't like entering battles and prefers to send her creations - small explosive goblin toys. You can get engineer scrap and her hammer from her.

Shaman

Shaman

The shaman masters several spells that will make you flee or make him a priority target. He can heal allies, set players on fire, and create a poisonous cloud. You can get his skull from him.

Glitteron

Glitteron

Glitterons consider goblins a delicacy, and goblins consider glitterons a delicacy. This endless cycle allows you to tame a glitteron by feeding it goblin meat. This loyal pet will bring you items and arrows from afar.

Chubby Glitteron

Chubby Glitteron

What could be better than a glitteron? A chubby glitteron! It cannot be tamed, but it becomes a useful mount - takes no fall damage, has durable armor, and has a spacious inventory for storing items.

Gameplay

Disguise

Disguise

The goblin disguise is a new potion effect that allows peaceful entry into goblin villages. Some goblins may show suspicion, but no one will attack you since you will be considered a goblin. This effect can be obtained by wearing fake goblin ears or consuming goblin liquor (gives temporary effect).

Sleep

Sleeping

Almost all goblins need to sleep at night. They return to their spawn point and sleep until morning (or until disturbed). At night, you can stealthily infiltrate the village to collect loot, as long as you don't approach sleeping goblins. Be careful - the shaman never sleeps, just like the goblins in the tavern.

Items

Skybound Armor

Skybound

Skybound armor is as durable as netherite armor but combines the functions of elytra and jetpack, allowing acceleration in air/on ground and taking no fall damage when sneaking during a fall.

(you need to configure key bindings)

Droblin

Droblin

Droblin is a small drone capable of shooting a small projectile to heal you when your health is low.

Hammer

Hammer

The engineer's hammer is equivalent to an iron pickaxe but is also used in combat - it allows summoning the engineeress's robot. The hammer can be upgraded with a goblin ingot at the smithing table.

And much more to discover in the game!

Blocks

Workbench

Workbench

The engineers' workbench allows creating bombs and drones with the necessary ingredients. It can be found in all goblin villages.

Workbench GUI

Barrels

Barrels

Trap barrels are found everywhere in goblin villages and structures. When accidentally opened, a mini goblin jumps out.

Trapped Barrels

Blazing barrels can be crafted or found in goblin villages. When hit by a projectile, they explode, igniting everything around.

Blazing Barrels

Deadly barrels can be crafted or found in goblin villages. When hit by a projectile, they explode, creating a poisonous cloud.

Deadly Barrels

Mushroom Pad

Mushroom Pad

The mushroom pad can be obtained when a goblin merchant disappears. It can neutralize fall damage and serve as a trampoline.

Mushroom Pad Death

Mushroom Pad Bounce

It can be combined with the new "boing" enchantment on boots, allowing you to bounce much further.
