Golem Tweaks
Project Status: Completed (no updates planned)
This compact modification significantly enhances interaction with iron and snow golems, making their use more convenient and functional.
📋 Supported Languages:
- English (US)
- Chinese (Simplified)
- Russian
⚡ Key Features:
The modification carries over from later Minecraft versions the ability to heal iron golems using iron ingots. Also added is the capability to heal snow golems with snowballs - either by right-clicking with the item in hand or by throwing projectiles at the target.
Snow golems can now be sheared, another feature borrowed from updated game versions.
Iron golems received cracking textures and corresponding sound effects when taking damage, allowing visual tracking of their condition.
🎯 Behavioral Changes:
Iron golems have become completely peaceful creatures - they no longer attack the player even if damaged. They also stopped attacking snow golems when accidentally hit by their snowballs.
🔧 Configuration and Compatibility:
Most features can be finely tuned through the mod's configuration file. Special attention has been paid to compatibility with Thaumcraft 4 through built-in aspects, as well as with Et Futurum and Et Futurum Requiem modifications. When using the latter concurrently, it's recommended to disable the snow golem shearing feature in their configuration files to avoid conflicts.
📦 For Pack Creators:
The mod can be freely used in any packs without needing special permission. Attribution would be appreciated.
ℹ️ Technical Details:
The textures of cracking iron golems, corresponding sound effects, and healing sounds were borrowed from Minecraft version 1.15.
