Grass Overhaul

Grass Overhaul is a decoration and quality-of-life mod that introduces various sod blocks to the game. You'll be able to create carpet-like coverings, slabs, stairs, and full sod surfaces that can be combined with each other.

These elements are perfect for landscape detailing while maintaining the authentic vanilla Minecraft style. The mod works seamlessly with any texture packs, opening endless possibilities for creativity.

Key Features

🌱 Various sod blocks available for grass, mycelium, podzol, and crimson/warped nylium. Choose between slabs, stairs, and small patches.

🎨 Automatic color adaptation. All sod surfaces use Minecraft's standard grass coloring system, ensuring perfect harmony with the current biome's color palette.

✏️ Full texture pack compatibility. Since the mod uses original game textures, any resource packs will automatically apply their changes to the new blocks.

☀️ PBR shader support. If you use resource packs with physically-based rendering, sod blocks will also display with enhanced graphics.

⚙️ Correct map display. Blocks properly appear on both standard Minecraft maps and modified versions like Xaero's or FTB.

🧟 Mob spawning control. Mobs cannot spawn on small sod patches, allowing you to aesthetically manage their generation on your territory.
