Gravel's Extended Battles

Gravel's Extended Battles is a library mod for Cobblemon that expands gameplay possibilities by adding new Pokémon types, attacks, abilities, weather conditions, and configuration settings. It's important to note that all GEB's battle features are disabled by default - this mod is designed to be used alongside additional addons that implement these capabilities. This means you can choose only the features you like, excluding unwanted elements such as new types or specific attacks and abilities.

Configuration Settings

The mod introduces a ban system using labels that allows restricting the availability of certain Pokémon. Pokémon with banned labels cannot:

  • Appear in natural habitats
  • Be obtained through the giveallpokemon command
  • Be summoned using the spawnallpokemon command
  • Evolve from unbanned Pokémon

This system makes banned Pokémon inaccessible to regular players without using commands. This opens up opportunities for creating custom meta-games on your server or world. If you use Gravelmon, this feature allows disabling Fakemon from certain fan games.

"not_modeled" Label

A special label has been added to the system for Pokémon that currently don't have models in Cobblemon. By default, this label is on the ban list, but removing it provides access to temporary implementations of such Pokémon.

Battle Capabilities

Gravel's Extended Battles adds numerous new attacks, abilities, and mechanics, including weather effects inspired by popular fan games Pokémon Sage, Pokémon Xenoverse, Pokémon Uranium, and Pokémon Insurgance. Detailed documentation on attacks, abilities, and weather conditions can be found at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13nnqgq0oBnpsbjymK5bBvCoXMU2HJYb6Wk7lPVucu4w/edit#gid=0

It's worth noting that not all attacks from the documentation are implemented - check the changelogs to see which specific attacks, abilities, and weather conditions have been added.
