Gravi-dirt

Attention: The current version contains bugs and is truly useful only in creative mode. It's unclear why the behavior differs from the development environment.

I wanted to add something similar to Extra Utilities' angel block or Immersive Engineering's balloons to my modpack without including those mods. So I quickly created Gravi-dirt in MCreator as a simple alternative. This mod works similarly to the mentioned ones but has its own characteristics.

Gravi-dirt is crafted from one dirt block, two gold nuggets, and four feathers. Right-clicking the block allows you to place dirt directly beneath your character.

The main purpose is exploring areas without solid ground: you fly to a new location, place a block, and start building. If you fill your hotbar with these blocks, you can even organize a kind of parkour.

The mod creates regular dirt and leaves nothing extra behind, so be careful when choosing where to use it.

Question: Don't MCreator mods not work in multiplayer?

Answer: If you're using a two-year-old version of MCreator - indeed they don't. However, this bug was fixed long ago and only affected mods with custom models and mobs, which this mod doesn't have.

Question: Doesn't MCreator generate messy and suboptimal code?

Answer: To some extent, yes. But this mod is so simple that such nuances don't have practical significance.

Question: Can I add this mod to my modpack?
