Grindstone Plus
Integration of Popular Gem and Ore Mods
This modification implements integration of the most demanded addons that expand capabilities for mining precious stones and minerals in Minecraft. The ore generation system itself underwent significant rework - now multifaceted geodes are generated in the world for almost every type of gemstones.
New Stone Processing Mechanics
Instead of instantly obtaining ready-to-use materials, you'll embark on an interesting journey from mining to final result. Found geodes must be brought to a diamond grindstone where you can polish them and discover what treasures were hidden inside. A feature of the system is the presence of different varieties of identical stones.
Geode Opening Statistics
Each geode when processed can yield:
- From 0 to 5 small pebbles
- From 0 to 4 units of secondary materials
- 1 whole precious stone of main type Occasionally with special luck you might discover a rarer variety of gemstone.
Elimination of Ore Duplication
A radical improvement concerns generation: now only one type of ore for each kind of stones appears in the world. This completely solves the problem when 5-6 different variants of ruby ore from different mods existed simultaneously.
