Grue - Terror in the Darkness

Do you remember the legendary Zork game series, popular in the 80s? There was a creature called Grue that mercilessly killed players who found themselves in dark rooms. Now this monster has moved to Minecraft and is ready to hunt you in the darkest corners of this world!

What is Grue?

This modification adds a new mob called Grue to the game. This immortal creature appears near the player when the light level around drops to 2 or lower. The longer you stay in darkness, the more Grue will spawn around you.

Grue deals colossal damage that is almost impossible to survive. However, there is a simple way to get rid of this threat - just move to a location with a light level above 2, and the monster will instantly disappear in puffs of smoke.

Settings and Configuration

The mod offers extensive customization options to suit your preferences:

Spawn Timer: You can adjust the time after which Grue appears near the player (from 1 to 60 seconds).

Light Levels: Configure minimum and maximum light levels for monster spawning.

Beginner Mode: Activate this mode to reduce Grue's damage and disable armor penetration.

White and Black Lists: Restrict Grue spawning to specific biomes and dimensions or, conversely, prohibit its appearance in certain locations.

Moon Phases: Configure monster spawning only during specific moon phases for additional realism.

Text Warnings: Receive notifications about approaching danger in chat or above the hotbar.
