GSOC Compat
Compatibility patch for Galosphere, Spelunkery, Oreganized and Caverns & Chasms mods. Eliminates duplicate content, fixes bugs and adds useful improvements. Includes an optional resource pack for unified appearance of silver blocks and items.
Required Mods:
Galosphere, Spelunkery and Oreganized are required. Caverns and Chasms is optional.
Main Features:
Salt:
- Replaces Spelunkery salt deposits with andesite
- Disables rock salt recipes
- Pink salt shards from Galosphere can now be ground into Spelunkery's salt
- Pink salt blocks now have Spelunkery salt properties
Silver:
- Replaces silver from Galosphere and Caverns & Chasms with Oreganized version, including world generation, loot tables and all related recipes
- Retextures certain items to match Oreganized color scheme
- Soul silver ores now drop raw silver ingots from Spelunkery
Spinel:
- Adds ore variants (andesite, diorite, spinel, tuff)
- Introduces rough spinel, spinel shards, rough spinel shards and rough spinel blocks
Improvements:
- Silver blocks can now be used as beacon base
- Removed colored glowsticks from loot tables to prevent inventory clutter
- Reworked achievements and added new ones
- Added and modified some crafting recipes
Fixes:
- Fixed poor generation of silver ores from Oreganized with Spelunkery installed
- Resolved rare gold generation issue with Caverns & Chasms
- Fixed "Peaceful Revolution" achievement from Galosphere not triggering
- Fixed lead ore variants from Spelunkery not releasing lead dust when mined
- Added missing texture for crossbows loaded with lead bolts from Oreganized
Additional Compatibility:
- Quark: added useful smelting recipes for raw ore blocks
- Create: implemented additional compatible recipes
- Alex's Caves: fixed dropped items from various ores, improved drop rate from galena iron ore
- Guard Villagers: guards now wear sterling armor by default (except helmet)
- Sully's Mod: grindstone functionality replaced with Spelunkery version for better consistency
