Gunpowder from Ore!

This mod expands gunpowder acquisition possibilities in Minecraft, offering an alternative to traditional creepers for obtaining this valuable resource.

New Underground Discoveries

The mod adds raw gunpowder ore veins to the game, which appear exclusively at height levels from 8 to 64 blocks and are located only above deepslate. This limitation makes finding deposits a strategically important task for players.

Mining and Processing

When mining each unit of ore, you receive a new item called "Packed Gunpowder". Effective development of deposits requires at least an iron pickaxe. Your character won't be able to extract the valuable resource with more primitive tools.

To convert packed gunpowder into regular gunpowder, a stonecutter is used. Place the obtained material in this workbench, and it will transform it into gunpowder ready for use.

Crafting recipes are available in the recipe gallery or through additional mods like JEI, ensuring easy access to technological chains.

Game Balance and Applications

The developer created this modification specifically for situations when the standard gunpowder acquisition method becomes insufficient. It's particularly useful in modpacks that require large amounts of this resource in early development stages or in mods with intensive explosive substance usage.
