Guns Without Roses

This mod is a concise expansion for Minecraft that adds several types of Terraria-style firearms, various ammunition types for them, and several enchantments. It's designed as a simple vanilla+ addition and a foundation for other (upcoming) mods to use its systems, not as a full-fledged content mod with complete functionality. There are no roses here either.

Weapons fire instantly with a short cooldown, and projectiles travel quickly, aren't affected by gravity, and ignore invulnerability frames. However, their damage is significantly lower than bows, unless you invest in more expensive weapons and ammunition.

6 Weapon Types

• Iron Pistol — basic weapon for early game
• Gold Pistol — less durable but easier to enchant
• Blaze Pistol — increased damage and free conversion of iron bullets to blaze ones!
• Diamond Shotgun — spread shot for powerful damage at short range
• Diamond Sniper Rifle — accurate shots with high damage that increases when hitting above eye level
• Diamond Gatling Gun — continuous stream of bullets for constant pressure

7 Bullet Types

• Flint Bullets — weak damage for initial stage
• Iron Bullets — greater damage for higher cost
• Blaze Bullets — even stronger and set enemies on fire
• Explosive Bullets — deal area damage even when missing
• Amethyst Bullets — penetrate through enemies
• Prismarine Bullets — not slowed or stopped in water
• Chorus Fruit Bullets — randomly teleport target as if they ate a chorus fruit
• They can be stored in the Bullet Bag, and weapons will fire directly from it!
• (For versions 1.19.2 and below only) Maws of Gluttony — special item that uses hunger for infinite bullets

5 Enchantments

• Impact — increases damage
• Bullseye — improves accuracy
• Sleight of Hand — speeds up rate of fire
• Preserving — gives chance to not consume ammunition
• Deadeye — increases critical damage multiplier for sniper rifles

Tip

If you have mods like EMI or JEI installed, you can easily find all bullets and weapons from your addons using tags gunswithoutroses:bullet, gunswithoutroses:gun, and for more precise search — gunswithoutroses:gun/pistol (or /shotgun, /sniper, /gatling). (The bullet tag indicates what can be placed in the Bullet Bag, while weapon tags don't affect gameplay and serve only for this purpose.)
